The College Relations Division at Canisius College encompasses the areas of Alumni Relations; Annual Fund; Corporate and Foundation Relations; Development Services; Prospect Research; Endowed Scholarships; Government Relations; Major Gifts; and Public Relations, Creative Services, and Web Services.

The College Relations Division:
  • Communicates the college’s vision.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance the educational experience through fundraising, program development, and community outreach.
  • Builds and develops relationships with all stakeholders of the college.
  • Cultivates and secures commitments for voluntary support of the college.
  • Enhances the Catholic, Jesuit identity of the college.

The College Relations Division honors one if its employees with the annual George M. Martin Advancement Award. Established in 1983 by George M. Martin, special counsel to the president, the award is presented to a member of the advancement staff whose initiative, creativity and teamwork brings distinction to him/herself and the college.
