Recognizing the critical role of faculty in the success of any institution’s service-learning program, the Office for Community-Based Learning will host its Service-Learning Celebration of Gratitude Reception on April 3, 2012.
Each faculty member will recieve a certificate as a token of appreciation for their willingness to be innovators in the area of academic service-learning, incorporating elements of service into their course or in some cases redesigning a course around a service component.
The Office of Community-Based Learning thanks every faculty member who incorporated service-learning into their courses this past year and in previous years. It is our hope that many more professors will choose to participate in service-learning in the coming year.
