Contact Megan Schear for more inf 716-946-4180 or mes@jersbuffalo.org For students with larger hour requirements:we need help on Monday or Fridays mornings from 9-12 (times are slightly flexible as I know many will have classes). You would be accompanying refugee clients to locations outside the JERS offices and work with them in a group while they volunteer somewhere. (i.e. lot clean-ups, computer trainings, volunteering at the SPCA, learning trade skills in the housing industry, etc.) This will provide a lot of interaction in a relaxed and fun environment. Mem If you have particular skills or interests and would be comfortable teaching to a group (financial literacy, interviewing skills, dance, crafts, etc) times can be arranged for you to lead a workshop. This is a good fit for motivated students who only need to fulfill a few hours, but it also could work for anyone.
