Canisius College Center for Professional Development offers adult education, certification programs, consulting, professional training and development. Our classes are designed to provide critical knowledge and skills to maximize employees' and their organization's performance. These training programs, taught by faculty and qualified professionals, can be delivered in house at your facility or off-site at our Amherst Campus (outside Buffalo, NY).

Creating a Non Profit Marketing Plan: This is for managers and development staff who want to learn more about how marketing can help them reach and keep more and better donors, volunteers, board memebers, and customers.

Students will be trained to assist trial attorneys, interview witnesses, investigate complex fact patterns, research the law and assist in preparing cases for courtroom litigation.
Sales Management Training: Effective management of salespeople is a key weapon in marketing strategy and critical to business success because many goods and services demand personal contacts to close the sale. This course focuses on the activities and problems of first line field sales managers.
(SHRM) Essentials of Human Resource Management: The SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program is an introductory course offering a comprehensive overview of the human resource function. The course covers today’s most vital and timely topics, including employment law, selecting qualified employees, compensation, orientation and training, and the employee performance process.
(SHRM) Learning System Courses: An intensive 12-week program designed primarily for individuals seeking SHRM certification; as a Professional in Human Resource (PHR®) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®).
Technology Courses: We offer technology classes in an environment that allows our knowledgeable, field experienced instructors to manage hands-on lab demonstrations that mirror the real-world work environment.
