Marketing for not-for-profits is not a course in fund raising, grant writing, nor is it all about promoting your agency. Instead, you will learn how to apply classic marketing analysis to your not-for-profit organization. Aware that we must usually market to two groups--the consumers of our services as well as donors who provide financial support--we will break down their different needs, wants, and demands. Then you will create two distinct 15 point marketing plans aimed at your two different markets. This course is being held in conjunction with a Canisius College undergraduate class.Who Should Attend:
- Experienced professionals in not-for-profits who want to learn more about marketing
- Staff that are interested in exploring marketing
- Board members of not-for-profit organization who wish to improve their understanding of marketing
