Canisius Center for Professional Development is offering an intensive 13-week training program designed primarily for individuals seeking certification; as a Professional in Human Resource (PHRŪ) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHRŪ).This class is offered in partnership with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). The curriculum, designed by subject matter experts, covers the 2012 HRCI Body of Knowledge and includes application exercises that develop specific competencies and decision-making skills.
Canisius students who have completed this course in the past have consistently beat the national pass rate!
The Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCIŪ) report shows;
Canisius College CPD, pass rate was 75%, the national pass rate was 58% and overall college/university pass rate was 68%
Six learning modules cover a full array of Human Resources (HR) topics including: Business Management and Strategy, Workforce Planning and Employment, Human Resource Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee and Labor Relations and Risk Management.
