Service Trip to New Orleans!
December 12, 2009 - December 19, 2009
21 students in the CSPA program will be headed to New Orleans this December to serve the city in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The students will be working in Catholic elementary and high schools, rebuilding houses, serving homeless dinner, and providing housewarming parties for families who have recently come back to New Orleans. The students will also be meeting with student affairs staff at Loyola University and Dillard University to see what they were faced with in their positions in the days and weeks following Hurricane Katrina. The CSPGA is our graduate student organization. Throughout the course of the academic year, we offer professional development workshops, service opportunities, and a number of social activities.
