Anne Marie Dobies has been a member of the Canisius community for over fifteen years. She holds two masters degrees in college student personnel and counseling education. Anne Marie has worked with students with disabilities at Canisius College for over seven years. As the associate dean of students and the director of DSS, she is devoted to providing the college community support and services necessary to achieve excellence in academic, social, and personal growth. She promotes self-advocacy and self-determination, while reinforcing personal responsibility. In addition to handling all the academic and non-academic accommodations for students with disabilities, she coordinates all tutoring services for the college community. Prior to DSS, Anne Marie was the assistant director of Student Activities and a Graphic Designer for the college.
