Program Overview
The study of economics provides a great educational foundation for all students but especially for those still trying to figure out exactly where they want to focus their business degree. It is the most general and flexible of all business programs at Canisius, and it has the widest scope.
We teach, advise and guide students pursuing the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics – for students planning a career in business and industry
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics – for students who plan to attend law school or other graduate programs and wish to focus their studies on how national and global economies operate
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance – for students who want to pursue courses of study and careers in investment and corporate finance industries
- BA/BS and MBA Dual degree – earn a bachelor’s degree and Canisius MBA in five years
