For Graduate Candidates Only:To qualify for a Master's degree, a candidate must complete all graduate-level coursework and requirements as outlined in the Graduate catalog for the program in which they are enrolled. See the table below for deadlines on when to apply. The web application will allow master's level candidates in Graduate Education to
request their diploma or
request to walk at the May graduation ceremony. Candidates must have 12 credit hours or less to complete in summer or fall in order to walk at the ceremony. The diploma will be awarded when the credit hours are completed.
Degrees are awarded during the annual May commencement ceremony on the date designated in the college academic calendar. Candidates completing degree requirements in August or December may obtain their diploma before the next commencement. The deadlines are listed below:

It is the responsibility of all candidates, regardless of when their requirements are completed (May, August or December), to fill out the Request for Diploma form notifying the School of Education that they intend to graduate. This form includes information on how the candidate's name should appear on the diploma, where the diploma should be mailed and transfer credits. If there is a question on the number of transfer credits that appear, please contact the graduate education office at 1-800-950-2505.
