Each cooperating teacher hosting a Canisius College student teacher must complete a Specialty Professional Association Evaluation, or SPA. SPA forms are organized by the student teacher's area of concentration. If a student is a double major, the college supervisor and the student must be certain that the cooperating teacher has filled out the appropriate SPA. SPA forms will be provided to the cooperating teachers on the first day of the placement, and will be collected by the supervisor or the student teacher.
