English as a
Conversation Partners Program
The goal of the conversation partners program is to improve cross-cultural communication, whether in English or another language. In this program students in the English as a Second Language program are paired up with American students interested in foreign languages, culture, international relations and politics, and international business to practice English and to learn about another culture. The program gives foreign language students the opportunity to practice conversing and listening in their language of study if they are partnered with an individual who is a native of that language.
