- Opportunity for advanced study—the English Honors program offers interested and motivated English majors the chance to earn honors designation by participating in innovative seminars and working with a faculty mentor in the writing of an original thesis.
- Our exciting Contemporary Writers Series brings nationally- and internationally- known authors to campus to meet with Canisius students and discuss their craft in an informal setting.
- Canisius is one of the few colleges/universities to offer a Creative Writing major and two writing minors. Graduates of our writing programs have gone on to study creative writing at some of the country’s best graduate writing programs.
