Three on-campus galleries dedicated to student, alumni and local professional artists display works to view and critique.
Outside the studio, students can participate in the Fine Arts Promotion Club, a service and social group which helps at ArtsCanisius functions. Off-campus, students have the opportunity to visit numerous art venues in the city of Buffalo and surrounding area. The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is a must see, as are the Burchfield-Penny Art Center, Art Dialogue Gallery, Hallwalls, Center for the Arts, CEPA, Big Orbit, Impact Gallery and Griffis Sculpture Park. According to American Style's 2004 Arts Destination Readers' Poll, Buffalo is among the top four art cities in the nation after New York City, Chicago and Washington, D.C.
