Kristina Young began teaching in the Health & Human Performance program in the Spring of 2005.  She is a recognized expert in health care delivery systems with over twenty years’ executive experience that includes administering governmental and not-for-profit community-based health care services, and leading divisions of two major teaching hospitals and a managed care organization. She is co-author of a nationally best-selling text, Health Care USA: Understanding its Organization and Delivery, to be released in its 5th edition in August, 2005.  Ms. Young also is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and an adjunct faculty member in the UB School of Law where she teaches courses on Health Care Organization and Health Policy.  She is the owner of a private consulting firm that serves both the not-for-profit and proprietary business sectors.
