This form is intended for students who want to apply to the All-College Honors Program and who offer unusual qualifications, talents and experiences that partially compensate for academic performance somewhat below the prescribed norm.  The Honors Program is especially interested in attracting "late bloomers," unusually creative young people, students of color, and students who have a high class rank but may not test well.

Use this on-line form if you are/have:
  • a high school senior
  • SAT scores of 1100-1279 (verbal & math)
  • a high school average of at least 90
  • demonstrated exceptional leadership
  • already been admitted to Canisius

In addition to completing this form, you must submit two (2) confidential letters of recommendation from a non-relative who knows you well, e.g., high school teacher, coach, guidance counselor, employer, or clergy person.

Do NOT use this form if you automatically qualify for the Honors Program:

  • SAT scores of at least 1280 (verbal & math)
OR an ACT score of at least 28
  • A high school average of at least 94
If you meet these entrance requirements and do not receive a letter of invitation to join the All-College Honors Program by May 1 of your senior year, please contact the Honors Program director, the Admissions Office or the Advisement Office.
