High School Seniors:
Interested in getting a jump-start on college? Then consider the Summer Honors Program at Canisius College, which offers a wonderful opportunity and full academic credit for an incredible price.

Courses offered this summer:  (June 23-July 24, 2008)

HON 103 Heroes & Heroines in American Literature (3 credits)
HON 105 Disease & Medicine in America (3 credits)
Costs:

  • $200/course tuition
  • Books: approximately $75/course
Admission requirements:

  • Will be a high school senior in 2008-2009 academic year
  • High school average of at least 92 percent or 3.7
  • Combined PSAT score of 115 or combined SAT score of 1150 (verbal/critical reading and math sections, writing scores will be taken into consideration); or PLAN or ACT composite score of at least 26
  • Recommendation of a high school instructor, principal, or counselor
Application requirements:

  • Completed application form (both sides)
  • Completed recommendation form
  • Official high school transcript including current work-in-progress
  • PSAT, SAT, PLAN or ACT scores
