Institutional Advancement at Canisius College encompasses the areas of Advancement Services, Alumni Relations, Canisius Fund, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Fundraising, Prospect Research and Stewardship.
Specifically, the Institutional Advancement division:
- Engages alumni, friends, parents and corporate and foundation partners in advancing the mission of the college.
- Communicates strategic initiatives to stakeholders of the college.
- Secures resources to enhance the Canisius experience through fund raising efforts.
- Provides experiences and communications to convey to our investors that their support is valued and appreciated.
All gifts made to support Science Hall between May 31, 2011 and May 31, 2012 will be matched through a $1 million challenge grant from the John R. Oishei Foundation.
Science Hall will enhance our undergraduate science education program, bring a new measure of distinction to the College and have a positive impact on the community.
