Abstract: RSA Cryptography is currently the coding standard for online security (including online banking, online purchases, credit cards, etc...). In my talk, I will discuss the process of RSA cryptography, the importance of the Unique Factorization Theorem in RSA Cryptography, and give an elementary coding example using RSA. Finally, I will briefly talk about the effects a fully functional quantum computer would have on online security.
