Abstract: Instead of students' seminar we will have a viewing of a DVD on the life and work of Herbert Hauptman, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry. Dr. Hauptman pioneered and developed a mathematical model that has changed the whole field of chemistry and opened a new era is research in the determination of molecular structures.
