International Education Week is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the U.S. Department of Education. It's an annual week intended to promote international exchange programs as well as recognize the International students we have on campus.

Hosted by the office of International Student Programs during the month of November, International Education Week was a great opportunity to share a great educational experience in our diverse Canisius community. This week featured events like the Study Abroad Fair, Host Family Reception and a variety of cultural events sponsored by Canisius organizations, like LASAF's Latin Dance Lesson and Global Horizons' Thanksgiving Dinner. The week was also accompained by international cuisines provided by Chartwells every day that week and the "Trio Gitano" Latin American concert. It was a successful effort in promoting International Education Awareness.
