international students

Welcome to the Office of
International Student Programs!

The Office of International Student Programs functions as a center for the internationally diverse student population at Canisius. Committed to internationalizing our campus, we recognize that a more diverse international student population enriches the experience of both American and international students by introducing them to new cultures and customs.

International students face many challenges as they adapt to a foreign environment. To address these special needs, the Office of International Student Programs (ISP) provides extensive support services to enhance the students' experience at Canisius and in America.

Some of the support services that the office offers for international and exchange students at Canisius include:

  • Orientation
  • Health Insurance
  • Academic Advisement
  • Housing
  • Counseling
  • Activity Planning
  • Customs and Immigration regulation advice
  • Canisius Community Family Program
  • Peer Mentor Program
