The National University of Ireland at Galway
For nearly a thousand years, Galway has been the largest and most important city in the west of Ireland.  The capital of Connemara, Galway is at the heart of one of the world’s most scenic landscapes.  In addition to the city’s dynamic cosmopolitan atmosphere, the older Gaelic culture – in music, song and language – is especially vibrant.

Founded in 1845, the National University of Ireland, Galway is a vital educational resource for the entire nation.  With a worldwide reputation for scholarship and teaching, the university offers smaller class sizes and student/teacher ratios.  A friendly, intimate atmosphere prevails on campus.

Students may spend a semester or year at National University of Ireland, Galway.  Students may take the same courses available to full-time undergraduates, which enables them to immerse themselves in Irish culture.  Students live in apartments in the center of Galway, within walking distance of the university.  Apartments are fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and living area.
