London Metropolitan University
London Metropolitan University is just north of central London, minutes from the city and West End.  Canisius students are fully integrated into the academic and social life of the university and study with British students in lecture, seminar and tutorial classes.

Students live in two, three and four bedroom apartments in central London close to all main shopping and theatre districts.  The London Zoo, Regents Park and the markets and clubs of Islington and Camden are just a few of the neighborhood attractions.


Travel Opportunities
Major cities such as Edinburgh, Paris, Dublin and Amsterdam are within easy reach for weekend, end of semester or spring break travel. The London Metropolitian Study Abroad Office also organizes weekend riding and climbing expeditions in the beautiful Welsh mountains.


Eligibility & Admission
Students who have completed three semesters in college level study are eligible for this program. Normally a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is required. Recommendations form professors and advisor will be considered in the selection of candidates.

Program Cost (to be paid to Canisius):
Canisius tuition (approx. $14,100),study abroad fee ($500), and a mandatory health insurance (approx. $140). Additional costs (paid directly by the student) include housing in centrally located, fully furnished London flat will cost  3376 pounds (approx. $5740).  A semester subway pass estimated at 320 pounds (approx. $545), board, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses are additional.  The cost of an optional internship is 330 pounds (about $560) plus 100 pounds (about $170) for the special internship visa.

Spring Additional Costs:
Additional costs include housing in centrally located, fully furnished London flats estimated between 2800 pounds (approx. $5900) for B housing to 3248 pounds (approx. $6825) for A housing. A semester subway pass estimated at 256 pounds (approx. $550), board, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses are additional.

For matriculated Canisius students only, 100 percent of Canisius College scholarships and grants will be applied to your program costs.  Program cost subject to currency fluctuation.
