Trouble Opening Office 2007 Files with your Windows PC?
Problem: I can't open the file sent from someone who's using Office 2007. I'm using a Windows computer, running an older version of Microsoft Office.

Follow the link below to the Microsoft downloads page and install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack (to read Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats).

Details: By installing the Compatibility Pack in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003, you will be able to open, edit, and save files using the file formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007.
