Mission

The Justice in Action (JIA) working group is comprised of students, faculty, staff and administration who work to coordinate, publicize, and develop initiatives that educate and promote awareness about justice issues. JIA will be focusing on immigration and environmental justice during the 2009-2010 academic year.

Justice in Action will promote and support campus activities and academic programs that respond to the Jesuit commitment to social justice by:
  • Coordinating and communication

  • Advising and influencing
Goals

  2. To lead the march toward social justice by developing an annual theme; communicationg and promoting that theme; helping to educate and train students, faculty, and staff.
