Learn Outside the Classroom
Successful careers depend on more than a degree. That is why every LAS student is strongly encouraged to engage in the following outside classroom activities to discover their interests and enhance their career opportunities:
- Involvement in research projects
- Ignatian Scholarship Day
- Academic and cultural short and semester-long study abroad trips (i.e., Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, and El Salvador)
- Major service-learning project involving LA/Latin communities
- Community outreach
- Involvement in the Latin American Student and Friends Club (LASAF)
- Service trips through Campus Ministry
- Internships
