How should my mail be addressed?
For Bosch, Frisch or Dugan Hall; your mailing address is your mailbox address. Example:
John SmithSometimes the Canisius College mailroom receives mail addressed to your parents, or to you using a “nick name”. We do not know these names, so please have all mail addressed directly to you with your proper name..

For Village, Delavan, Main-Humboldt, Main-Delavan, Griffin or Campion; Use your specific street address and Zip Code. Do not write the words “Canisius College” in your address. Residences are spread over three Zip Codes, and do not have a college address. Check the mailing instructions on the Canisius Web site.
Where do I receive my mail?
On-campus residents at Bosch, Frisch and Dugan Halls receive their mail at their Palisiano Hall mailbox. Mail delivery is Monday-Friday, by Noon.
Off-campus residences have address specific exterior mailboxes.
Where do I get my mailbox key?
The Office of Residence Life will issue keys for all mailboxes.
Where do I purchase postage?
An automated mailing machine is located next to the Canisius College Mailroom. With a credit card, you may purchase postage, weigh your boxes and packages, or send priority mail.
How do I send a package?
The Canisius College Mailroom can send your package by US Mail, UPS or Fed-Ex.
How do I receive a package?
Packages are received by the Canisius College mailroom and logged in. Check your Griff-Mail account for notification that your package has arrived. You must go the Canisius Mailroom with you student ID to pick up your package.
How do I change my address?
Each time you move, you must contact each person and business and provide your new address. It is your responsibility to contact your bank, credit card company, church, family and friends with your new address.
Magazines can not be forwarded. You must contact your online magazine subscription office and provide the correct address.
