SPE 650 Developmental Disabilities & Autism Spectrum Disorders:  Analysis of Causes & Research-Based Interventions
SPE 652 Functional Curriculum & Assistive Technology for Students with Severe Developmental Disabilities and ASD (requires 25 hours of field experience)

SPE 593 Student Teaching (one placement in special education) Prereq:  B or better in SPE 631 and 652 and 698 if taken.

Candidates can choose to complete their one student teaching placement
during the fall or spring semester OR during the summer as part of a
high-quality summer instructional program for children with disabilities.
