The power for each device must be turned on separately. The TV's power button is near the lower right corner of the screen. The power button for the DVD/VCR is located in the upper left corner of the combo unit (labeled ON/STANDBY). Both must be turned on.
The volume is adjusted using the volume + and - buttons on the TV monitor.
Once the equipment is powered up, insert the videotape into the VCR portion of the combo unit. Use the buttons on the face of the unit for: STOP, PLAY, Fast-Forward (FF), and Rewind (REW). To remove the videotape, press the EJECT button, located on the left, just below the ON/STANDBY button. Additional functions are available using the remote control provided. NOTE: If there is no picture, make sure the TV is on Channel 3.
Once the equipment is powered up, use the OPEN/CLOSE button on the right side of the combo unit and insert the DVD into the disc tray. Use the buttons on the face of the unit for: STOP, PLAY, Fast-Forward (FF), and Rewind (REW). Additional functions are available using the remote control provided. NOTE: If there is no picture, make sure the TV is on Channel 3.
To turn off the equipment, simply press the same two power buttons that you used to power up the equipment.
