Press the POWER button on the SMART Board Control Panel (see Picture 3 above). This hard button device is used for control of the projector.
After pressing POWER, wait until the button has stopped flashing before selecting the desired source button on the SMART Board Control Panel. The projector will not receive the command to switch until after it has finished warming up.
The resident computer and DVD/VCR combo unit are powered on using the appropriate button located on these devices.
The adjustment of volume is done using the knob located on the SMART Board's right speaker (see Picture 6 above).NOTE: Computers have their own volume controls which may need to be adjusted separately.
Press the POWER button on the resident computer to turn it on (see Picture 2 above). On the SMART Board Control Panel, push the COMPUTER 1 (LOCAL PC button to display the image through both the monitor and LCD projector simultaneously.
Make sure the resident computer is on and press the COMPUTER 1 (LOCAL PC) button on the SMART Board Control Panel after the SMART Board has powered up. The SMART Board software will automatically load after you log in to the computer.

Once the equipment is powered up, insert your disc or VHS tape into the DVD/VCR combo unit (see Picture 2 above). The combo unit is controlled using the buttons on the unit or the corresponding remote control provided. To display the DVD/VCR image on the LCD projector, press the VIDEO (DVD/VCR) button on the SMART Board Control Panel. To switch between DVD and VCR modes, press the VCR/DVD button found on the combo unit itself.
1. Power-up the equipment as described above. 2. Connect the required cables to your laptop as described above. 3. Plug in your laptop's AC power adapter. 4. Press the COMPUTER 2 (LAPTOP) button on the SMART Board Control Panel. 5. Turn on your laptop's power. Press the POWER button TWICE on the SMART Board Control Panel to turn off the LCD projector. The resident computer and DVD/VCR must be powered off separately. Be sure to remove any media from the equipment before shutting it down.
