To better serve our faculty and staff with their event needs, ITS/the Media Center has purchased two Windows laptops for use during on-campus events. This new service offered by the Media Center will help alleviate the hassle of having to bring your own laptop and connect it. Simply bring your files on a USB drive, CD or access them through the campus network, load the presentation and your ready to go!
In order to use one of these laptops, simply request a Media Center Event laptop along with the rest of your media (LCD projector, screen, etc.) when scheduling your event with the Office of Event Management (ext. 2180). When you arrive at your event space, you'll find the laptop secured to a podium and already connected.
This is a trial program being offered by the Media Center and the laptops are available on a first come, first served basis. They will be available for use Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. If both are already scheduled on the day of your event, you can still contact the Center for Teaching Excellence (ext. 3720) to reserve a laptop.
