Welcome to the Canisius College Media Center's SMART Notebook Page. Below you will find links to install the SMART Notebook software used in classrooms equipped with SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards. Click on the appropriate link to download either the Windows or Mac version.
For Windows Users:

During the installation process you will be prompted for a Product Key, which can be obtained by contacting the Help Desk (ext. 2299). You MUST enter the Product Key or you will only have a 30-day trial to use the software.
PLEASE NOTE: There are links above are for the SMART Notebook 10 (software only) and the SMART Notebook 10 with SMART Product Drivers. The Notebook software is all that is needed for creating lessons on your own computer. Simply save the notebook file to a portable USB drive, network drive, etc. so that it can be accessed from the resident computer found in one of our SMART Board-equipped classrooms.
The SMART Product Drivers are necessary when connecting a computer to a SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard. These are needed if you are planning on using your laptop with the SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard found in the Frisch Hall Conference Room.
