The SONY VID-P100 is found in OM 301.


Start the room up as you would normally and select the appropriate source button to display the document camera. Use the What's In My Classroom link to the left to find the instructions for your particular room.

POWER: To turn the document camera on or off, press the POWER button (1), which is located on the right-side of the document camera near the back.

ZOOM: Use the W & T buttons (2), located on the right-side of the document camera near the front, to zoom in & out on the subject placed on the document camera's stage.

FOCUS: After you have zoomed in/out on the image, use the focus buttons or press the AUTO button (3) to focus the image. These controls are located to the left of the zoom controls.

NEGA: To invert the colors of the document camera image, press the NEGA button (4), which is located near the front of the document camera on the left. Pressing it again will restore the image's natural colors. This can be used for viewing negative film or can help make some documents easier to read.

B&W: To toggle between between displaying the document camera image in color or in black & white, press the B&W button (4), which is located to the left of the NEGA button. This can be used for viewing black & white documents.

LIGHTING: The LIGHTING button is located on the right-side of the document camera near the front (2). Each press of the LIGHTING button will cycle the document camera's lights; upper on/base off, upper off/base on, upper off/base off, etc.
