Who we are: The Mission and Identity committee at Canisius College is made up of representatives from nearly every corner of the Canisius community, including faculty, staff, administrators, and students.
The committee, formed in 2006, was created to foster and promote a greater understanding and awareness of our Catholic and Jesuit identity as an American university. As such, our goal is to support institutional initiatives that further mission and identity by increasing communication within the college, making the community more aware of the vibrant spiritual and intellectual life on campus through celebration, contemplation, and discernment.
