Study Abroad Opportunity for Pre-Med, Law Enforcement & Education majors in San José, Costa Rica
What's Included
- Six Canisius College course credits:
- Language for the Profession (3 credits)
- Internship (3 credits)
- Canisius College study abroad fee
- Group pick-up and drop-off at San José Juan Santamaría International Airport
- On-site orientation
- Group welcome and farewell dinners
- Housing with families in San José (shared rooms), including two meals per day, and laundry service once per week
- Daily transportation allowance to internship sites
- Excursions to a beach (Tamarindo), and a volcano and hot springs (Arenal)
- Health insurance

- International Airfare
- Passport and any applicable visas
- Exit fee
- Individual transportation within the host city (taxis, buses)

Academic Information
Prerequisites
Successful completion of Spanish 217 or higher with a grade of B or better.
