Compose a Successful Music Career with a Degree from Canisius
Canisius music graduates are prepared for various music-related careers and graduate studies. Courses are designed for students with diverse music backgrounds and all levels of experience. The program introduces students to the literature, theory and technology of music.
Music majors have gone on to graduate studies at Canisius College, the State University of New York at Buffalo and the State University of New York at Fredonia.
Canisius offers both a major and minor in music. Many students decide to dual major in such areas as digital media arts, communication studies or business. In addition, for those who decide to pursue music education, a music concentration is offered in the Early Childhood, Childhood and Special Education Programs.
