Canisius SIFE Team to Attend Goldman Sachs Training
The Canisius Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team will be among 45 SIFE teams from across the United States to attend the Capital Markets Training Seminar sponsored by the Goldman Sachs Foundation in Dallas, TX on October 27, 2008. Teams will learn how to educate high school students on capital markets and capital formation. The Canisius SIFE team was selected based on a proposal prepared by Nancy Hilliker ’10, finance and economics major and vice president of SIFE, who will represent the team.
Patricia A. Hutton, PhD, professor of economics, is the founder and advisor of the Canisius SIFE chapter. SIFE is an international organization that mobilizes university students around the world to make a difference in their communities while they develop the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. There are nearly 900 SIFE teams in the United States.
