Canisius Ranks in Top 100!
Canisius College is one of the best 100 universities for Hispanics. That according to Saludos Hispanos, which recently recognized Canisius College with its Educators Distinction Award.  Saludos Hispanos is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for Hispanic people through education and career development.

Canisius College was cited for, "Leading the way, providing high standards of education, career planning and counseling to Hispanic students."

Other colleges and universities that rated in the Top 100 include Columbia, Fordham, Georgetown, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, John Hopkins and Rutgers.

For more than 35 years Saludos Hispanos has worked with many Latino groups throughout the United States.  They offer employment service, promote workplace diversity and offer free résumé postings to qualified bilingual professionals.

Celebrate the Season

Attention Holiday Revelers! The Canisius College holiday breakfast will now be held in the Peter Gust Economou Dining Hall in the Student Center (that's changed from the previously announced Palisano Pavilion). Don't miss your chance to win a camera, radio, movie tickets, gift certificates, gift baskets and much, much more.

If your schedule does not allow you to stay for the breakfast you are welcome to stop-in, enter the prize drawing and grab some food to go.  The Canisius College Prize Patrol will deliver prizes to the winners' offices after the party.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the prize patrol.  If you are interested in volunteering or if you want more information about the party, contact Mary Pat Leahy, secretary for the vice president of academic affairs, at ext. 2121 or by E-mail at leahy1@canisius.edu.
