Women’s Business Center Hosts Recognition Event
The Canisius College Women’s Business Center (WBC) will hold its second annual “Recognition Connections Event” on Friday, June 16 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Palisano Pavilion on the college’s Main Street campus. The event is free and open to the public.
The event is held each year to show appreciation and give recognition to all those who generously give of their time and talent to help provide information, education and real life experiences to small business owners involved in the WBC programs. Canisius Corporate Challenge Team

Peter Osmond, Canisius cross country coach; was the college’s top male finisher with a time of 19:45; and Aileen Hoak, assistant cross country coach was the college’s top female finisher and the second overall female finisher with a time of 21:12.
Nearly 40 Canisius faculty, staff, administrators, family and friends turned out for the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge on Thursday, June 8. After the 5k, runners/walkers were treated to a Chartwells cookout in the Canisius tent. Congratulations to Aileen Hoak, assistant cross country coach, finished second overall among females with a time of 21:12. Peter Osmond, head cross country coach, was the college’s top male finisher, with a time of 19:45.

Chartwells Summer Cookout
