Important Note about GriffMail Folders
Did you know that GriffMail automatically removes (i.e. permanently deletes) E-mail messages in your Junk Mail and Trash folders? ITS considers messages in those folders to be “expendable,” and has configured GriffMail to remove E-mail messages in those folders based upon the length of time they are in the folder. An E-mail message placed in Junk Mail will be removed after 14 days. An E-mail message placed in Trash will be removed after 30 days. Please note that GriffMail does not use the date of the E-mail as the baseline, but rather uses the date the E-mail was placed in the folder. For example, an E-mail message dated 1/1/2000 is put into Trash on 4/1/2006 and will get removed on 5/1/2006.
