BUFFALO, NY –  Canisius College will host the WNY Student 2 Biz Challenge on Thursday, April 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.  The event, which is sponsored by the WNY Consortium of Higher Education, is free and open to the public.

Each team will have 10 minutes to pitch their plan, followed by five minutes of Q&A with a panel of judges. The purpose of the competition is to promote entrepreneurship between student teams in the following six categories:

  • Biotechnology/Healthcare
  • Energy/Sustainability
  • Information Technology/Software
