Canisius Receives “Educators Of Distinction” Award
Award given by Saludos Hispanos to institutions that have demonstrated a commitment to higher education success for Hispanics.
BUFFALO, NY – Saludos Hispanos, a leading career and education magazine for bilingual Hispanics, recently presented Canisius College with its “2001 Educators of Distinction” award.
The Educators of Distinction Awards are given to institutions that have demonstrated a commitment to higher education success for Hispanics. Canisius College was among 100 leading colleges and universities sited for “leading the way” in high educational standards, career planning and counseling for Hispanic students. Other colleges and universities rated in the top 100 include Columbia, Fordham, Georgetown, Harvard, MIT, Standford, Johns Hopkins and Rutgers.
Saludos Hispanos is a 30-year old organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for Hispanic people through education and career development. They offer employment service, promote workplace diversity and offer free résumé postings to qualified bilingual professionals.
