An early member of the firm’s audit staff, Mazurkiewicz later moved into the Tax Practice and served as tax supervisor for nearly three years, before he was appointed head of the Middle Market Tax Practice. Mazurkiewicz retired from the firm in January 2002 as partner in charge of the Albany/Upstate New York Tax Practice.
Despite retirement, Mazurkiewicz remains active with several clients and community organizations. He is the board chair of the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, a board member of the Kaleida Foundation, and former chairman and clement trustee for the American Red Cross (Buffalo chapter). In addition, Mazurkiewicz is a member of the Niagara Business Associates, and a member and past president of the NYS Society of CPAs (Buffalo chapter).
