To be considered for admission to Canisius College's on-line master's degree program in physical education, candidates are required to submit the following items:
1. A completed graduate application.
2. One official transcript from the degree granting institution.
3.Evidence of teacher certification.
4. Two letters of recommendation.
Program Start Dates
New graduate students are admitted three times a year: Spring (January), Summer (May-June) and Fall (late August). There are no deadlines for applying, we operate on a rolling admissions basis. Students should complete their applications at least one month prior to the term they wish to begin.
Evaluating Applications
When evaluating applicants for admission we look for a minimum 2.7 cumulative undergraduate GPA. Candidates with less than a 2.7 cumulative GPA will be reviewed by the program director for an admissions decision and may require additional requirements (e.g., Graduate Record Exam (GRE), etc.).
