The Orientation Leader position is an exciting, active experience that can significantly impact the lives of new students.  You are responsible for setting the first impression that many students and parents have of Canisius College.  This is a tremendous opportunity and an important responsibility.

New Orientation Leader Applicants:
The selection of new Orientation Leaders will be based on four components:

  • A completed online application
  • Two references (to be submitted online)
  • Participation in Group Process (you will be notified via email which Group Process night you are to attend)
  • Personal interview (business casual attire is strongly recommended for the interview).
All items must be completed and submitted online by Friday, February 24, 2012 by 5 p.m. 

 
Once you submit your application, come to the Office of Campus Programming and Leadership Development on February 27 or 28, to schedule your Personal Interview. 
 
Returning Orientation Leader Applicants:
The selection of returning Orientation Leaders will be based on three components:
  • A completed online application (References are not required for returning OL’s).
  • Personal interview (During your interview you will be required to give a 5-8 minute presentation. Click here for more details.
  • Evaluation from previous year(s) of involvement.

All items must be completed and submitted online by Friday, February 3, 2012 at 5 p.m. 

Once you submit your application, come to the Office of Campus Programming and Leadership Development on February 3, 6 or 7, 2012 to schedule your Personal Interview.

All Orientation Leader decision letters will be
available starting March 28, 2012.
