Ben Dunkle Associate Professor of Digital Media Arts
I joined the faculty in fall 2001. Since then, I've been teaching courses in graphic design, web design, and programming.
My education led me to an MFA in Printmaking, which I received from SUNY Buffalo in 1997. The creative and critical skills that I developed in school lent themselves well to a career in commercial art.
I spent my next four years working for Travers Collins Partners, a marketing communications firm in downtown Buffalo. My responsibilities included illustration, graphic design, and interactive development, and I was eventually promoted to the position of Director of Interactive Media.
While working full time at TCP, I was also teaching various courses in the evenings. At SUNY Buffalo and CEPA Gallery I taught numerous courses in web design, graphic design, illustration, and drawing. This part of my working life was so fulfilling that I decided to pursue a full-time career in teaching, and so here I am!
