Douglas A. David, EdD Assistant Director
Dr. David Has had a total of 40 years in education. He taught grades six to twelve then served as a guidance counselor for two years. This was followed by four years in a Boards Of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) where he directed an alternative program, a gifted program, and worked with districts across New York State on district policy and regulations. He also spent 25 years as an administrator in a different BOCES working with districts on a variety of curriculum, instruction, and assessment initiatives. Upon retirement he came to Canisius College to be part of the EDA program of which he initially served as the director. He has a bachelors, three masters, and a doctorate degree in education, counseling, and administration.
