Research Interests
Dr. Dinan's research interests are in organic synthesis, polymer structure studies and innovative teaching strategies. In particular, he has developed case-based studies for the classroom and the laboratory. Information about case-based learning can be found here.
Below are three case-based studies that Dr. Dinan has published:
1. Dinan FJ, Szczepankiewicz SH, Carnahan M, and Colvin M.
"The analysis of a murder, a case study"
JOURNAL OF CHEMICAL EDUCATION, 2007, 84, 617-618
2. Bieron JF and Dinan FJ. "Case Studies Across a Science Curriculum"
3. Dinan FJ and Frydrychowski VA.
