Jack Clarke adjunct professor of sociology
Professor Clarke is a sociologist who focuses on cultural sociology with an emphasis on urban lifestyles and race & ethnicity. The required courses he teaches are Introduction to Sociology as well as ANT 351 Qualitative Methods. He received his undergraduate degree in Sociology at Augustana College, his M.A at DePaul University, and is currently finishing up his Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His current research focuses on the creation of identity as it refers to informal occupations such as stand-up comedians in Buffalo, NY.
