Kevin Kotsko is in his first season as assistant athletic trainer at Canisius College where his primary responsibilities lie with the men's basketball and men's soccer teams.
Kotsko joins the Golden Griffins after spending the previous 10 years at West Virginia University. With the Mountaineers, Kotsko worked directly with the men's soccer, wrestling and swimming and diving teams and also served as the head trainer for the Shell Facility athletic training room.
Prior to West Virginia, Kotsko spent one season as head athletic trainer at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and three years as the head athletic trainer at Seton LaSalle High School.
Kotsko also has experience as an athletic trainer with the United States Paralympics Track & Field Team and at the World Blind Track & Field Championship - both held in Brazil during August 2007.
A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Kotsko earned his bachelor's degree in health science in 1995. He also earned his master's in physical education from the University of Virginia in 1996.
